What does it mean to “ball like a girl”?

I am an athlete writing about the sports I love: #1 basketball. I have loved basketball since I was kid. While all the other kids my age were playing together, I was shooting hoops with the older kids and developing a 3 pointer.

To me, ball like a girl means:

Being prepared. Working hard to be the best in the game. Playing hard. Giving everything you have on the playing field. Being a leader and a role model.

But that is just my opinion. What does it mean to you?
