NCAA Title Game Set

Finally, we will get the matchup we have been waiting for. Baylor vs Notre Dame. Even though Stanford had some success in isolating Brittney Griner, other players stepped up for Baylor and they were able to get past Stanford. Notre Dame fought for its place in the title game by beating UConn in overtime. Brittany Mallory came up huge with her 3 pointers. I’m looking forward to a tough physical game because these two teams are hungry for a title. Two of the most talked about players, unsung heroes of the season and two excellent coaches will converge on the court April 3rd to determine who takes it all.

#1 Seed Final Four

The Final Four in Denver will consist of all #1 seeds of the tournament. I expected a few games to come down to the wire. The UConn-Uk games was tight there in the first half, but UConn was able to pull away in the second half and get the win. Everyone can see Baylor and Notre Dame are out for blood, and easily getting it, and most of the spotlight is on them. UConn and Stanford are dominating in their games as well. To be honest, I expected a little more excitement than Brittney Griner dunking and Skylar Diggins getting a triple-double last night. But I must say, the way Baylor and Notre Dame are dominating their opponents is exciting in and of itself. Most people want to see these two teams matched up in the Championship game, myself included. If that happens, it will be one heck of a game for both teams. For now in the Final Four, let’s see if Notre Dame can continue its success against UConn and Baylor can be a dominant force against Stanford.
