With the field set for the Elite 8, the upcoming games may go down to the wire. The teams include Baylor, Notre Dame, UConn, Maryland, University of Kentucky, Tennessee, Stanford and Duke. Maryland ousted defending champs Texas A&M, Griner dunked again and Notre Dame blew by St. Bonaventure. Sad to see Georgia Tech go. I think they are one of the best defensive teams I have seen, but they couldn’t stop Baylor. Texas A&M had a lot of chances to win the game, but give Maryland credit for fighting back and overcoming 2 double digit deficits to get into the Elite 8. Expect these teams to be stingy with points and some games to have thrilling finishes.
